Stanford University

Stanford University is a must-see campus for those who have never been there. Take a stroll around the quad, visit the Cantor Arts Center Museum (which offers free admission!), grab a coffee at the Coupa Cafe stand near the library or a frozen yogurt at Fraiche Yogurt. It's the world's second largest college campus, so you can spend a lot of time exploring.

The Stanford Theater

221 University Avenue · Palo Alto, CA 94301

This is an amazing restored theater which plays only classic films. It's really fun to catch a double feature and see the organ player add some live music. After, you can go to one of the great restaurants on University Ave.
